The premier event of the summer in Beaverdale is rapidly approaching and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The Beaverdale Bluegrass Festival is scheduled Saturday, July 19th at Tower Park, located at 50th and Hickman in Beaverdale.
The festival is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the Beaverdale Neighborhood Association.
New this year will be the Kid Zone, featuring face painting, crafts and yard games for kids of all ages.
The Beaverdale Bluegrass Festival will feature 10 live bands from Iowa. Bring you lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the music, styarting at 2:30 pm. Admission is free but please don't bring alcohol into the venue. Beer sales are how we pay the artists and grounds set up. Three craft breweries will be offering a variety of beverages.
There also will be six food trucks on hand.
