It is with great sadness that the BNA is announcing it will be canceling the 2020 Beaverdale Tour of Homes. The volunteer committee tasked with the planning of the event was unable to identify enough homes to make the Tour viable in 2020.
The Tour of Homes has been a great event to showcase Beaverdale, having drawn 500 attendees to the event in previous. It has proven to be an excellent fundraiser for the neighborhood, that has provided funding for Beaverdale’s Streetscape corridor, the Centennial Mural, and the Witmer Park project. The BNA would like to thank all of the volunteers and local businesses who have donated their time or sponsored the event in the past.
Even in the absence of the 2020 Tour of Homes, the BNA is committed to sharing the unique architecture of our neighborhood through the Tour of Homes. The BNA will reevaluate how to make this event successful in the future with a focus on making the Tour of Homes 2022 a reality.
