The Beaverdale VFW Post 9127 invites all Beaverdale residents to the grand re-opening of the remodeled post on Saturday, July 30th. Doors open at 11:00 am and the presentations will be at noon. Food will be available and drinks are available for purchase from the bar.
The VFW Post has nearly completed a $100,000 remodeling, courtesy of Polk County. Post Commander Michael Young invites all Beaverdale residents to come see the improvements.
Young says, "At the same time, we are going to celebrate the work done by our members to attain recognition as a 2021-2022 All State Post and 2021-2022 All American Post by the VFW Dept of Iowa and the VFW National for the work and goals that it's members has done in the past year. This is the first time that Beaverdale VFW Post 9127 has accomplished this in it's nearly 75 year history."
The VFW Post is located at 4029 Urbandale Avenue.
