Communication Committee

This committee is responsible for producing the BNA newsletter, The Sidewalk, and updating our website www.beaverdale.org. Communication Committee meets first Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at Tally's. Please contact Roy Cacek at roycacek@mchsi.com to learn more.

If you are interested in volunteering, please take a few minutes to contact Roy. The following are a few areas where help is often needed:

• writing articles
• photography
• laying out ads (graphic design experience necessary)
• proofing/editing Word document and/or newsletter layout
• calendar of events — requires knowledge of Word. Lots of cutting and pasting. 
• some rewriting might be needed to keep format consistent
• coordinating with printer — print production experience a plus
• advertising sales — follow up with area businesses to see if they want to place an ad, remind them of deadlines, materials needed
• distribute newsletters — take extra printed copies to businesses (mostly in Beaverdale Place)
• website posting
