The city of Des Moines along with several neighborhood associations in Northwest Des Moines, including Beaverdale and Lower Beaver, are hosting the annual MEGA Scrub event on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm at Polk County River Place, 2309 Euclid Avenue.
Any Des Moines resident can participate but bring a photo ID or utility bill as proof of residency.
Before arriving, please review the city guidelines for what's accepted and what's not. Hazardous household chemicals are also accepted at MEGA Scrub, but please review the guidelines.
