Sidewalk Q1 2015

Happy New Year, neighbors! We had another wonderful holiday season in the neighborhood. The Shop Hop was well attended and many fun pictures were taken. The Holiday Lights Contest was as competitive as ever, with prizes generously donated by Le Jardin. And, of course, Santa Clause at the intersection of Ashby and Wallace was great for kids of all ages. While we’re up on cold ladders taking down lights, it’s hard to believe that spring is just around the corner. Plans are already underway for events like the Easter Egg Hunt and Grass Seats Cinema. That warmer weather will be welcome as the construction teams finish up the Beaver Avenue Streetscape. We can look forward to new plantings, benches, and lighting. It will be nice to have our first spring with such amazing improvements. The Streetscape isn’t the only thing that will be looking different.... click here to read more.
