The Beaverdale neighborhood Association is neighbors working together to promote the social welfare of the Beaverdale area by bringing about civic betterment and social improvements for the common good and general welfare of the community.

Public Presentation Results from 9/18 Forum

The public presentation of 3 proposals for the development of the Rice School site was held on Monday September 18, 2006, 6:30pm at the Hoover High School auditorium.  An initial count of 160 attendees filled the seats of the auditorium to view the presentation.  To see a summary of these presentations, please follow the link below to the DMPS web site where the 3 developers have provided additional information.

Results from the 9/18 Straw Poll:

109 straw ballots were cast.

Rice Partners, 64 votes, 58.72%

Nelson Development, 33 votes, 30.28%

Regency Development, 6 votes, 5.5%

None of the Above, Keep the Park, 6 votes, 5.5%
