Praire Meadows Comes Through Again

Prairie Meadows has informed the Beaverdale Village Revitalization Board that we have received another grant of $10,000 to support our efforts. In 2003 Prairie Meadows was our first major contributor with a grant of $21,500. The 2006 contribution brings Prairie Meadows’ total investment in Beaverdale revitalization to $41,500.

“Prairie Meadows was the first to demonstrate faith in us, and because of their leadership others have made major investments in our neighborhood. Continued support by Prairie Meadows will be the catalyst for continued support by our other major investors,” said Sheree Clark, chair of the Beaverdale Village Revitalization Board.

With the financial assistance of Prairie Meadows, Beaverdale Village Revitalization has made remarkable progress in the 36 months since the first organizational meeting. Clearly, that progress has been noticed, as support continues to grow for the revitalization project. Robert Farinella, President, CEO, and General Manager of Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino notes “Prairie Meadows is happy to have worked with Beaverdale in growing their focus on community economic improvement. We have watched this process work successfully and salute the efforts of the local Beaverdale team to energize this effort and make it work. We wish you continued good luck with this effort.”

Continued support by Prairie Meadows and others will help ensure construction begins in 2006!
