A Northwood Red Maple was planted in honor of the victims of September 11, 2001, in the median at 48th on Urbandale Ave. Sponsors: The Beaverdale Neighborhood Association, with assistance from the VFW Beaverdale Post 9127 A White Red Jewel Crab and a Pink Red Spendor Crab were planted in honor of Lena Gabel in the median of Urbandale Ave. in front Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Sponsors: Margaret & Marvin Pommer An Oak was planted in honor of Victor A. Smith at 46th & Urbandale. Sponsors: Kathy Bemisdarfer and Mrs. Victor Smith A Snowdrift Crab was planted at 39th & Urbandale. Sponsors: Robert & Linda Raily A Linden was planted in honor of Mary Gladys Conant south of the Ashby Park shelter. Sponsors: Gordan L. Greger Seven Indian Magic Crabapples were planted in honor of Wayne Sulser in the median of Urbandale Ave. between 46th and 48th streets. Sponsors: Mrs. Rae Sulser and Connie & Jim Murphy A Little Leaf Linden was planted in honor of Mark A. Taylor III in front of Ashby Park Shelter.
