Nominate a Neighbor for the Beaverdale House Pride Award

Have you, or any of your neighbors, embarked on a home improvement project over the last two years? If so, the Housing Health Committee would like to know about it. We are looking to reward Beaverdale residents who have recently invested in their homes. Whether it be a project as simple as exterior paint and landscaping, or a more challenging project, like a kitchen remodel or a new home addition, the Housing Health Committee wants to hear your story and see your results!

Housing Health Committee will select nominated homes for this ongoing award, designed to recognize Beaverdale homeowners who have improved their properties.

Quarterly, the Housing Health Committee will sponsor a contest, starting with House Pride nominations from the neighborhood. From there, the Committee will meet with nominated homeowners, view their home improvement projects, and ultimately decide on a House Pride winner. Winners will receive an attractive award to display and a gift certificate to a local Beaverdale business. They will also be recognized in The Sidewalk and at Beaverdale events.

When Beaverdale residents improve their properties, the whole community benefits. Not only do improvements enhance the neighborhood’s aesthetic appeal, but they improve neighborhood property values as well. We are all indebted to neighbors who show pride-in-ownership, by maintaining or improving their homes. Please help the Housing Health Committee thank those who have invested money or energy to keep their Beaverdale homes looking great!  With questions about the award, please contact Roy Cacek at 279-0984 or via e-mail at roycacek@mchsi.com.

The Committee hopes to receive numerous nominations for our first ever House Pride Award — an honor, where all of Beaverdale wins!
