BNA Mission
The Beaverdale neighborhood Association is neighbors working together to promote the social welfare of the Beaverdale area by bringing about civic betterment and social improvements for the common good and general welfare of the community.

The BNA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization. Your company may have a matching funds program.

Photographer Needed for ALL BNA Events
Throughout Year

Each BNA event needs one or two volunteer photographers. Photos are appreciated on CDs in JPG format.  Photos are used in the newsletter, on the web site, in BNA displays and for the BNA archives. Please contact Kelly Moore at 515-255-8869.

Jazz in July 
July 15 (6:30 to 8 p.m., Beaverdale Park)

Volunteers needed on Saturday, July 15, at 10 a.m. for Beaverdale Park cleanup. Volunteers bring brooms, rakes, snow shovels, plastic bags and gloves. To join the cleanup crew, contact Nancy Dunbar or simply show up at the park.  

Tentative Event: Beaverdale Bar Crawl

This event is still in the planning stages. Two co-project managers and a few volunteers are needed. Please contact Bill Miller.

National Night Out Against Crime
Aug. 1, 6 to 8 p.m., Snookies Malt Shop at Beaver Bend

Beaverdale Fall Festival
Sept. 22 - 23

Many volunteers needed for big and small jobs - mostly for the Saturday morning parade. To volunteer, please contact Sophie Vlassis at 515-633-3265.

Garden Tour

A large number of volunteers needed for selling tickets, assisting the host gardeners, taking tickets the day of the tour, developing a map of the garden locations, creating and placing yard signs, and getting involved in other ways. Contact Nancy Dunbar.
