BNA Mission
The Beaverdale neighborhood Association is neighbors working together to promote the social welfare of the Beaverdale area by bringing about civic betterment and social improvements for the common good and general welfare of the community.

The BNA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization. Your company may have a matching funds program.

BNA Annual Meeting and Election
Tuesday February 13, 2007
7pm @ Northwest Community Center, 5110 Franklin Avenue.

The BNA Annual Meeting and Election will be held Tuesday February 13th at 7pm at the Northwest Community Center, 5110 Franklin Avenue.  BNA members current as of January 31, 2007 are eligible to vote in the election of Board of Directors. Information on candidates vying for a position on the board can be found at: http://www.beaverdale.org/home/newboard.php

In addition to regular business and the election, a brief seminar on home energy efficiency and conservation will be conducted by Marcie Rafdal with Des Moines Community Services. Refreshments will be provided. Please join friends and neighbors on Tuesday at 7pm.

Upcoming Meetings:

The next public meeting relating to the Rice School Site will be at the City of Des Moines Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council chambers, 400 Robert D. Ray Drive. Also on the agenda that evening is a public hearing relating to Joe's Square, a planned redevelopment of the Bond's of Beaverdale property.
